Pathfinders: Entering Grades 5–8

Welcome, Pathfinders!

Pathfinders will take daily field trips within Massachusetts related to the weekly themes, making the most of the cultural, historic and fun opportunities available. Field Trip locations will be announced in January.

Along with field trips, Pathfinders will have the opportunity to participate in two Tower specialist week-long programs on campus. See weeks two and six for details.*

Daily Schedule 

8:00–8:30     Morning drop-off
8:30               Meet and greet
9:00               Depart for field trip or on-campus tech hub or studio
3:00               When time allows, recap/follow-up activity and pool time on campus
4:00               Afternoon pick-up

Pathfinders’ Themes of the Week!

Week 1. 
June 26–30

A Day at the Museum

Campers will be inspired to reinvent art through field trips to sculpture parks, botanical gardens, and public art exhibits using alternative methods and materials.

Tuition: $560.

Week 2.
July 1–3

All Ball

There will be more to this week than kickball and four-square games. We will venture out each day to see local stadiums, hit balls at the batting cages, and do many more ball-related activities.

Tuition: $336.

Week 3. 
July 8–12

Tech at Tower*

Come explore new interests with like-minded peers on campus. Tech savvy campers will have an opportunity to learn new things and use new concepts.

Tuition: $560.

Week 4.
July 15–19

Aquatic Adventures

Kayaking, swimming, fishing, and just sitting by the shoreline are all part of this week of aquatic fun. Join us as we take daily trips to keep cool in the summer sun.

Week 5. 
June 22–26

In the Woods

Let’s head outdoors and begin an appreciation for our environment. We will learn about the ecology of the surrounding woods, learn about preservation efforts, and see what kinds of personal and physical challenges can be found in the woods.

Week 6.
July 29–August 2

Art at Tower*

Over the course of the week, campers will experiment with a variety of materials and processes, including drawing, painting, fiber arts, sculpture, mixed media, and more. On campus projects are designed to teach fundamental skills in art, while encouraging creative expression.

Week 7. 
August 5–9

Extraordinary Science

New England has a number of educationally enriching museums to visit, ranging from science museums to expansive art collections. So if you love science, we have a week of science fun for you. Get excited about science when we explore all the science around us.

Tuition: $560.

Week 8.
August 12–16

The Great Escape

We will use a little brainpower and a lot of teamwork as we solve puzzles and unlock secrets. Challenge yourself and have a fantastic adventure when we travel around town and to parts unknown in nearby sites.
