Guitar Building Class: Adult Education

Adult Education: Intro to Electric Guitar Building

Instructor: Adam Zois, professional woodworker and master luthier.

Dates: Jan 21–March 11, Wednesday evenings 7–9pm

Students will learn to cut, drill, shape, sand, and finish a handmade electric guitar referencing iconic solid-body Fender designs like the Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Stratocaster, Jazz or Precision Bass. Students will apply hardware and learn to set up electronics, leaving class with a custom made guitar.

Course Fee: $600.00

This comprehensive fee includes all required materials: body blank, neck, hardware, and electronics. Students may request a consultation regarding customized materials and components at an additional cost.

Registered students will be notified of payment options and will receive a liability waiver prior to the start of the first class.

This course is open to adults 18 years and older; minors are not permitted to accompany their adult to class.

Due to the nature of using woodworking tools and equipment, a liability waiver is required prior to starting the first class.

Safety eyewear will be required at all times when working in the woodshop.
