Grade 3

Throughout the year, third graders become more independent learners and thinkers. They are often hesitant to take risks and are highly competitive. However, third graders thrive on encouragement. They tend to be inquisitive and are often looking for the explanation of facts. They become more interested in new relationships. Third graders learn how to appreciate and nurture their environment. Third grade students are encouraged to join clubs to further develop their personal interests. Third graders are expected to have a good and growing sense of responsibility, thoughtfulness, sense of humor, and commitment to their role in the school community.
