We offer a variety of on-campus and virtual opportunities throughout the year to get to know Tower. If you don't find a date that works for you, reach out to us, directly.

Welcome Wednesdays: 4/12, 8:00–9:00 am

Join our community, learn about our curriculum, and meet our faculty and students. Families interested in Pre-K–grade 4 will attend an assembly where students share projects and discoveries, build public speaking skills, share music, art and more. Families interested in grades 5–8 will be invited to observe a class in session.

Join us for one (or all!) of our scheduled assemblies. Campus Tours are available following the assembly.

Open House Highlighting Tower's Social-Emotional Curriculum: 5/10, 9:00–10:30 AM

Join us for a discussion about Tower’s comprehensive, evidence-based Social-Emotional Curriculum, led by our Director of Health Services, Speech and Language Pathologist, and School Counselor. Together, they help children and teens build essential skills in:

social thinking—strategies that help people develop skills in flexible thinking, social problem solving, and building equitable relationships as part of a group
social pragmatics—an understanding that what we say, and how we say it impacts the meaning and our relationships with others. Students build awareness of others’ ideas and perspectives to build productive and healthy group dynamics.
building a unified vocabulary for identifying and managing mental health challenges—including anxiety, disappointment, focus, worry, self-control and more
understanding that supporting their mental health is normal human growth

Join us at 9:00am for a 30-minute discussion about Tower’s approach to supporting children and teens; and how the development of these skills strengthens social interactions, emotional responses, and academic growth.

Campus tours are offered from 9:30–10:30am.

Toddlers Love Tower, Too!

Our Parent and Toddler Workshops are teacher-led, interactive, fun and open to everyone! Each workshop has its own unique theme—incorporating music, art, stories or movement—selected to delight children aged 2–4.

Parents in the Classroom!

March 7, 2023, 8:30–10:30am

Experience the excitement of our ambitious academic program for children in Pre-K–2. This event is a hands-on, academic experience in which parents take part in four 20-minute, mini classes that mirror the experiences of our students in grades Pre-K–2. You’ll gain an understanding of how critical thinking skills and deep knowledge are ignited through engaging teaching methods, creativity, and physical activity.

Physical Education

Develop your hand/eye coordination and gross motor skills through a 15-minute, heart-healthy, physical education class with Coach Branton and Mrs. Pignato. Physical activity is essential for social-emotional wellbeing and health and has a beneficial impact on classroom learning throughout the day. Physical education provides students with the ability and confidence to be physically active for a lifetime.

Coach Branton and Mrs. Pignato teach P.E. to students in Pre-K–5.

Music

Music education is recognized as important to the intellectual and social growth of our students, and therefore constitutes a vital component of the curriculum at Tower School. Attend Ms. Price’s class and learn how to read music using rhythmic dictation, movement and active games geared for students in Pre-K–grade 2.

Ms. Price teaches music to students beginning in Pre-K.
