Dear Parents of Alumni,
Greetings from Tower! I am writing to share an update on the many exciting initiatives underway at the school and to ask for your support of Tower's Annual Fund.
The latest buzz in Marblehead and the surrounding communities is all about Tower's plan for a turf field, outdoor learning center, and two new playgrounds. The Backyard Project, which will break ground later this month, will make a lasting impact on athletics, science learning, and outdoor fun for students of all ages.
Just as your students once did, Tower's Grade 8 students have been busy making secondary school decisions which included an impressive array of acceptances including BB&N, BU Academy, Choate, Deerfield, Governor's, Middlesex, Northfield Mount Hermon, Pingree, St. George's, St. Paul's, Tilton, local public schools, and more.
The recently released Strategic Plan lays out a well-defined set of goals, including academic leadership. The plan is designed to help ensure that Tower's bright and vibrant future is fulfilled for each and every student, now and into the future.
Tower has also been humming with excitement over the announcement of its 10th Head of School , Serena Wilkie Gifford. Serena's demonstrated leadership skills combined with the depth and breadth of her experience in Pre-K--8 education positioned her as the ideal leader for Tower. Serena will formally begin her duties in January 2020.
As you can see, Tower is on the move! Plans of this caliber require support from the entire community, including parents of alumni. Would you consider a gift, of any amount, to show your support for Tower? Your contribution will ensure that today's students will benefit from an outstanding Tower education. Gifts can be made online at towerschool.org/giving.
Thank you for your consideration and warm regards, Kim Trudel Director of Annual Giving
