March 4, 2019

Hello Tower families,

Today's snowy disruption to the schedule is a welcome surprise in an otherwise busy final week of the trimester! Tomorrow, we'll be back to our projects, quizzes, classwork and field trips as planned, but today, we're feeling lucky to have this gorgeous snow to enjoy.

Best wishes for a relaxing (or exciting) March break.

Stephanie Curtis

Director of Marketing & Communication

P.S. If your kids are making the most of the day by making snowmen, please send a photo. I'll share the creative collection via Instagram.

Campers will use acquired skills to safely navigate their vessels through different waterways. BEYOND OUR WALLS

Students presenting at Operation FUNd
ImaStudents presenting at Operation FUNdge

Tower partnered with the YMCA's Operation FUNd to give students opportunities to learn more about social entrepreneurship, leadership, and creating non-profit business plans with real potential to help our communities. Two groups of Tower students represented Tower. Charlie and Charlie created an education model aimed at helping senior citizens learn about technology and social media. Maxine, Alex, Lidia, Lindsey, Jenny, and Abby created an after-school model for helping students in need of after-hours care and mentoring. Students did an exemplary job when they pitched their ideas to a panel of judges and donors at the YMCA's culminating event. They  represented Tower on the public stage with Character and Confidence.

THANK YOU

Thank you to all of the parents who supported the drama production by practicing lines with their children, organizing and running the concession stand and grams for the actors; and for offering pizza during rehearsals. You're the best...
