Fran D'Orio '18

Captain Fran D'Orio led the Holderness School Varsity Golf Team to a undefeated Spring season including victories over Tilton, Proctor, and KUA.

Pathways Hospice, the legacy nonprofit organization I've led for the past four years, will break ground in late may/early June on a 12-bed freestanding inpatient care center. This milestone mission moment has been years in the making, and will help us meet the great and growing need for inpatient hospice beds in northern Colorado. On a personal note, I'm enjoying my new pandemic hobby of cycling, and I'm currently training to do a century ride (100 mi) in August as a remote member of a Pan Mass Challenge team. Our older daughter Gershona will become a Bat Mitzvah in August, and our younger daughter Miriam (turning 9 in June) is enjoying being a striker on in a local youth soccer league.

Luckily we have survived through Covid unscathed. Its been very helpful to have my two walking buddies, Anne Lyness Ward and Shawna Deery Barrett. We always say it would be fun to catch up with other Tower classmates. I am still around a lot visiting my mom who is just celebrating her 95th birthday! I am also keeping myself occupied with a very small knitting business.

Brian Bixby '66

Still a practicing attorney after all these years (43+), with offices in Boston, Wellesley, Hingham, Andover, and Providence. And now also a proud grandparent of Max and Simon Bixby, the best job of all.

I graduated high school last year. This past summer I became an EMT and am training this summer to become an Advanced EMT.
