The Tower Benefit

Inspired by the sun-drenched shores and breezy elegance of Positano and the Amalfi Coast, the 2026 Tower Benefit—La Dolce Vita—invites community members and friends to celebrate life’s simple pleasures and everyday beauty. On April 11, 2026, the Tower Community will gather for an unforgettable evening that captures the carefree romance of Italian nights by the sea: bold stripes, fresh seafood and sun-ripened citrus will set the scene as we come together in support of the Tower community.

This biennial community event is supported by parents, faculty, students, families and the businesses within our communities. Proceeds support two important programs that enhance the experiences for all students and faculty—the Cultural Arts and Professional Development programs.

A Relationship with Root North Shore

Root North Shore empowers at-risk youth through a 14-week culinary skills training program while addressing food insecurity in our community. As a social enterprise organization, Root creates social impact while generating revenue to sustain its operations.

Tower School built a relationship with Root through its event catering program. As our partnership grew, we saw a great opportunity to launch a School Lunch program together. The convenience of Root's online ordering, the variety of hot and cold menu options, their commitment to fresh ingredients and eco-friendly packaging, and daily delivery to Tower make this program a success for our school community year after year. Tower’s liaison to Root, Ms. Gillis, notes students’ favorite menu items: “Burritos and the Caesar salad are consistent favorites for students of all ages, and everyone loves Root’s freshly baked cookies.”

Root’s motto, "Feeding Opportunity, Feeding Community," resonates with us. Through their daily work, Root members demonstrate a lesson we teach our students at Tower—the importance of using their skills to support the greater community. We are proud to play a small role in the North Shore community’s collective effort to support Root, their students, and the people they serve each week.
