Trustees

Since 1940, Tower School has been governed by an independent and self-sustaining Board of Trustees. There are currently 24 voting members of the Board who, together, and in accord with NAIS Principles of Good Practice, serve as the guardian of the school's mission. The board ensures that the mission is relevant and vital to the community of Tower and it monitors the success of the school in fulfilling its mission. As a self-sustaining board, membership is determined by vote of the board according to the school's by-laws. The board seeks to include people who can represent a broad range of the school community as well people who bring particular expertise that will serve the school. Members of the board serve three-year terms. They are distinguished by their commitment to Tower and by their care for the mission of the school.
