Ways to Give

Click here to make a gift online.

Gifts may be made by check or credit card (Tower accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover). Mail checks made payable to Tower School to the Development Office at 75 West Shore Drive, Marblehead, MA 01945. Visit our secure online giving page or call the Development Office at 781.631.5800 to make your gift by credit card. Many donors choose to make their gifts before December 31 in order to receive a tax deduction within that calendar year.

Gifts of appreciated securities generally offer tax savings in two ways: The donor avoids paying any capital gains tax on the increased value of the stock, and the donor receives an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift. For more details on the benefits of stock gifts or for instructions on making a stock gift through Tower's account at Merrill Lynch, please contact the Development Office.

Many companies offer a matching gift program as part of their benefits package. This program matches an employee's charitable donation to educational institutions, often doubling or tripling the employee's original gift. To find out if your company offers this program, contact your employer's human resources department.

The Runnette Society for Planned Giving is named for Helen Runnette, Tower Headmistress from 1917-1956. It was established in the spring of 2004 to recognize the foresight and generosity of alumni, families, and friends who have included Tower School in their estate plans. If you have included Tower School in your estate plans, or if you wish to obtain information on how to do so, please contact the Development Office at 781.631.5800.

For more information about your giving options please contact Jessie Achterhof, Director of Development, at or 781.631.5800 ext. 258.
