Before School and After School Programs @ Tower
Before School and After School Programs @ Tower
Welcome to the Before School and After School Programs at Tower School. Our program room is staffed by two coordinators, who engage students in daily activities ranging from recess to board games to craft time. We also offer a variety of small group enrichment classes designed to stretch students beyond their school-day curriculum to explore subjects that they might not otherwise have an opportunity to try. We hope you will take the time to check out our expanded offerings in the near future.
Before School @ Tower
The Before School @ Tower program provides quiet time and supervision prior to the start of the school day. This program is helpful for families whose schedules benefit from an early drop-off time at school. Before School @ Tower is offered Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:40 AM.
After School @ Tower
The After School @Tower program begins with a refreshing snack of juice and crackers, and is followed by outdoor recess, group projects and games, and an opportunity to complete homework assignments.
The After School @ Tower Program offers a variety of elective course offerings such as Badminton, Chess, Digital Photography, Improv, Math, Orienteering, Woodworking, and Yoga. Courses are led by Tower faculty and independent specialty organizations.
Music lessons and tutoring are also available through the After School @ Tower program. Music lessons are available in a variety of different instruments with piano and guitar trending as most popular. Tutoring is offered in specific academic areas or as general homework support. Music lessons and tutoring occur on campus and can be arranged by families on an individual or small group basis.
After School @ Tower is offered Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Registration is available per trimester, and drop-ins are always welcome on a space-available basis. Registration information can be found here or by contacting John D'Entremont, the Director of Auxiliary Programs.
