Peabody Essex Museum

For many years, Tower teachers have worked closely with the education department at the PEM to provide breadth and depth to the content of what is being taught at Tower School. Trips to the PEM may be brief or may last several hours, depending on the grade and the intent of the visit. In some grades, students take part in a multi-visit program over the course of the school year. The students become comfortable visiting a museum, understand the role of docents, and are frequently praised for their level of interest in the subject matter and respectful behavior.
