Posted 12/14/2016 07:33PM

It is with tremendous enthusiasm that the Board of Trustees announces Tower School's 9th Head of School: Tim Delehaunty. Tim is currently the Head of the Upper School at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) in Connecticut. Prior to NCCS, he worked as an English Teacher, Department Chair, and Director of Studies at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA.

Tim earned his B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross, and his M.A. in English at Middlebury College. Additionally, he is trained in Design Thinking for Educators and is a certified Critical Friends Group Coach, which focuses on working with peers in a collegial fashion on issues of teaching and student achievement through a culture of excellence.

We look forward to welcoming the Delehaunty family to Tower in June of 2017.
