It is with tremendous enthusiasm that the Board of Trustees announces Tower School's 9th Head of School: Tim Delehaunty. Tim is currently the Head of the Upper School at New Canaan Country School (NCCS) in Connecticut. Prior to NCCS, he worked as an English Teacher, Department Chair, and Director of Studies at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA. Tim earned his B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross, and his M.A. in English at Middlebury College. Additionally, he is trained in Design Thinking for Educators and is a certified Critical Friends Group Coach, which focuses on working with peers in a collegial fashion on issues of teaching and student achievement through a culture of excellence. "This film probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including the director's own, and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists, solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world." --screenagersmovie.com. This event is free of charge and open to all CHA and Tower families. Join us on Thursday, December 1 at 6:30pm for a half-hour reception, followed by the hour-long film, and a discussion. Register using the form found under the "My Tower" section of the website.
