Approximately 30% of the students at Tower receive financial aid. During the 2012-2013 school year, Tower will provide nearly $1.4 million in financial aid to the families of 90 students. The average financial aid grant is approximately $13,000. Admission decisions are made separately from financial aid decisions.
Tower seeks to enroll a talented and diverse student body. We are eager to welcome families from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures and we welcome families from a variety of economic circumstances. Our need-based financial aid program is designed to meet the needs of a wide-range of families. We encourage families to consider Tower whether or not they can afford the entire tuition.
In determining a family's need for financial aid, Tower employs the methodology and formulas established by the National Association of Independent School's Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS). Parents who wish to apply for financial aid must complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) and send that along with a processing fee to SSS. The applicant family and Tower then receive a Report of Financial Contribution (RFC). Tower uses this report as well as copies of W-2 forms and completed 1040 tax returns to determine financial aid grants.
