This admission event is open to all interested families. The focus of the first half-hour is on the curriculum of the earliest grades. Our Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers will share highlights of their various programs, and we'll hear from Liz Buchan, Head of Lower School. Parent volunteers will lead tours for all grade-levels.

• 8:30-9:00 am | Welcome by Lower School Division Head, and Director of Admission followed by an informative curriculum presentation by Tower teachers
• 9:00-9:45 am | Tours with parent volunteers. Step into classrooms, meet with faculty, see our students in action. Learn more about the Tower School experience for your family.
• 9:45-10:30 am | Optional breakout conversations with academic leaders and administrators. We invite you to learn more about the Community Scholarship, Tuition Assistance, Curriculum Support, Secondary School Placement, or simply ask your own questions.

October 3, 2019  This workshop has reached capacity.

Join Art teacher Stephanie Fitzgerald for a creative morning of building, design and imagination. Based on the story of Iggy Peck, Architect, children will explore shapes and structures throughout various stations of the workshop.
 
Following the 45 minute workshop, we will serve a snack and read a story with our new friends.  Younger siblings are welcome to attend as well with a parent or caregiver; kindly let us know with your RSVP. 
 
This workshop is free and open to children who will be two years old by October 3rd.

"Pathways" Using a variety of art materials, the children will create fantastical busses, and drive them through a colorful mural. We will learn about pathways, and how they connect homes to community buildings, people to other people, and more! "Pathways" is a discovery led by art teacher, Mrs. Fitzgerald and second grade teacher, Mrs. Field.

"Gingerbread!" Join our Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Walsh in an exploration of the five senses. Toddlers will decorate their own gingerbread decorations to display throughout the winter season.

"Spanish" This beginner-level Spanish language workshop is led by Spanish teachers, Mrs. Ainlay and Mrs. Walcutt. Learn about colors and animals, sing songs and have a special snack. No prior Spanish language knowledge is needed in this active, fun workshop.

"Music & Movement" Join P.E. Teacher, Mr. Field and Music teacher, Mr. Shepard in an exploration of music and movement. Come prepared to dance, wiggle, sway, hop, bounce and play!
